We couldn’t have asked for better weather for the 6th Annual Sickle Cell 5k. The course was set up in the heart of DC, starting at Freedom Plaza. We got there around 8:30am, just in time to warm up with “Miss Maryland.
Non-profits and business owners joined several hundred individuals and families to bring some public awareness to SCD.
